UGANDA CULTURAL ASSOCIATION IN BC HAVING BBQ AUG 5 2007

Hi Amos and Hi Everyone,I just want to reiterate that, yes, we are holding the Annual BBQ on Sunday August 5th at the Fraser Foreshore Park in Burnaby (link to the map in the copied message below) starting 1:00 p.m. promptly. The fire will be lit before 1:00 p.m., I promise.You may bring a favourite delicacy to roast and/or share and BYOB and drinks as well. Hi Everyone,A few people have been toying with the idea of holding our midsummer classic BBQ on Sunday of the BC-Day long weekend. That happens to be on Aug 5, 2007.Typically, the BBQ kicks-off at 1:00 p.m. to dusk, or whenever some wiseacre urges us off . The purpose really, besides sampling the sizzles of summer, is to see, be seen and be able to mingle with members of the community - to touch base, so to say. It is always an event never to be missed.We are considering hosting it again at the Burnaby Fraser Foreshore Park on Fraser Park Dr., off Byrne Road - cross street, Marine Way. I think the Eastern arm of the Park served us well last time, and we should go back there.I will keep you informed as the day draws nearer. Isuggest the BBQ to be held at strout lake fiew Commercial near strout lake community center. the location is fair for every one. it will be in the center. fraser foreshore park is too far from the main road of east marine drive. for who use transt transport. think about it.
