For your information, and your attention. to up date the ugandans and public worldwide that the Asians who were holding british passports in uganda, when uganda recieve Independence from british colonial rules in 1962. the constitution of uganda change. the new require all those asians who would like to remains and continue with their busunesses should all apply for to become uganda citizen. those aplied before and became uganda citizens remains in uganda & continue with their businesses,their properties were not taken from them. but those who still holding brtish passports were given three months to apply for the citizenships. they refused to apply. after three months expire, then govt. expelled them. it was ILLEGAL for them to stay. it is against the new law of uganda the same aplies to any country around the globe. the plan was iniciated by milto obote in 1970. then amin just emplements what is already writen by obotes govt. after that idi amin formed the asians custordians board. to look after those asians properties affairs, the were all compensated. check with the british authority and united nations records of payments to the asians from uganda government under Idi Amin dada. those asians who went back & reclaims their properties are thieves. they should not decieve the world airing false info. campaigning against Idi amin, sponsoring movies to create false about Idi Amin. they must be ashamed of themselves. fellow ugandans dont be decieved. epen your eyes. bravo.
