MUSLIMS CELEBRATED EID EL FITRE TODAY IN BC AS WELL ACROSS THE GLOBE OCT 13 2007

The Majority of Muslims celebrated eid el fitre today oct,13, 2007. in BC as well around the world. in zawiyah Foundation Islamic, Masjid/Mosque prked up to outside. the programe started with takbir. Allahu Akibar, Allahu Akibar, Allahu Akibar. laillah hailallahu, AlahuAkir, Alahuakibaru walilahu Alhamndu. then, at around 8:30 am. the the MC/as secretary general of zawiyah. brothe. Mohamed Shafiq. narrated how the programes will be, after which he Introduced Imam Fuad Drame. who led Eid salah. then he tells the signifants of the month of ramadhan inter related the time almighty allah sent quran on earth. he made the dua for all our loved ones who are not with us anymore. the prayer for the sick worldwide, prayer for peace worldwide. the blessing to all. he asked for unity amoung muslims worldwide. after salah, the zawiyah students boys & girls sing the songs of the month of ramadhan. Fellow Ugandans in Vancouver Bc Join us in zawiyah today for eid prayer. to mention the. Mr. Hamid Andeku,& Family, Mr. Bran Abe. & Family, Mr. Mahmoud Adebo & the wife, myself & my Family, and many African muslims from virious communities all attended. followed by every one huge each other Greetings. refreshment was served. at one pm, the lunch was served. this followed by zuhur prayer at. 1:30 mor activities continues. at 8pm dinner was served. then Imam thank every one. the programe ended with Ishah Prayer.
